In the last 10 days the horses have been running brilliantly we have had a lot of placed horses and a nice couple of winners. Alot of the horses are beginning their summer holidays and they could not ask for better weather to be out relaxing in, it is such a lovely sight to see them out grazing and being part of a herd.
The trip across the water to Les Landes in Jersey was worth while with two winners and two seconds. All ridden by Brian Hughes, Dajam's (Mike Burbidge's) owned both the winners Molliana won the 1m1f handicap by a length and Man Of The Sea won the 5 1/2f sprint by 4 lengths. Mrs Burbidge and Moayadd finished second in each of their races. We are making a return trip to Jersey for racing on Bank Holiday Monday.
Man Of The Sea
Inaminnia and tom Scudamore won at Newton Abbotby 7 lengths in the 2m5f ROA Handicap Chase, after leading two out he was soon in command and won the race comfortably for the Inaminnia Partnership.
We have seen the following recently,
Mrs Burbidge was 2nd at Stratford
Soupy Soups was 2nd at Uttoxeter
Global Rhapsody was 3rd at Bangor
The trip to Perth was worthwhile when Lake Baikal was 2nd and Halo Moon was 3rd.
Ffos Las saw Dead Right and Dream Machine finish 2nd in their races and Peltwell was 3rd.
A huge congratulations goes to our conditional jockey Phil Donovan won the Racing Excellence Conditional Training Series (2018/19).
