Autumn is here - the leaves have changed colour and started to fall, the ground is getting softer and the first Cheltenham meeting of the National Hunt season is behind us.  The winter jumps season is well and truly underway!

Things have started well for the yard, with some good results for our runners.

La Cavsa Nostra won a novice handicap chase for us on 29th October at odds of 16-1, with Robbie Dunne on board for the win.

Just one day later, it was great to get a double up at Taunton when Harry Reed brought Viking Ruby home in front in a handicap hurdle before Sam Twiston-Davies made it two wins in half an hour when Scardura won the maiden hurdle.  Scardura won by 16 lengths and looks a very nice prospect.

Another winner came on 5th November when Heavey won at Exeter. Robbie managed to avoid the trouble caused when one of the other runners veered alarmingly across the track, and got Heavey past the post in front.

Having had four winners in two weeks it looked on Saturday like we might get number five in a really big race when Soupy Soups came home really strongly in the Badger Beers Silver Trophy at Wincanton.  The line came a stride or two too soon and he was a narrow 2nd, but he ran a great race and looks capable of winning a similar contest, hopefully in the near future.

We have plenty of nice horses in the yard this season and loads to look forward to in the coming weeks.  Hopefully, some more winners will be being reported here very soon!
