18/02/2012 Wincanton and I'm A Legend had his first run back after a nasty injury last autumn when he struck into himself at Huntingdon. He ran really well and moved into a good 5th 3 from home but when the pace quickened he could not go with them and finished 7th. Felix was very positive and said that a faster pace early on would have suited him better as he is better h eld up off a strong pace. But the main thing was that he is safe and sound and will improve for the run
15/02/2012 Point of Reference ran slowly at Southwell and she is coming out of the Racing Club as she is not good enough and I am looking for a replacement for her
11/02/2012 On friday Novabridge ran at Wolverhampton and finished 4th. He got the lead but the 6lb penalty was to much for him but he ran a good race and will now have a little break to freshen up. On Saturday Jimmy the Lollipop ran at Kempton and he ran a good race although he only finished 6th he was only beaten 2 heads for 4th which was a big improvement. The fact is that at the moment he is to highly rated and needs to come down to be eligable for 0-60s then he will be in his class
9/02/2012 Beneath ran at Wolverhampton and he was dropped back to 9 furlongs. He hit the front off the last bend but he did not have the pace to maintain his advantage and finished 4th. He will now have a bit of a break to freshen him up and then go back up in trip
07/02/2012 Beneath ran at Wolverhampton on 2nd February and finished 3rd beaten a head and a short head but he was very unlucky as he was nearly bought down by a horse stopping quickly in front of him and he was flying at the finish. But that is racing. the yesterday 6th February Novabridge won at Wolverhampton which was a great result for the horse and Mike. Since he has been trained by Neil he has run 5 times winning once and placed 3 times a model of consistancy
31/01`/2012 Andreas gave Hobb's Dream a smashing ride to win the conditional jockeys hurdle at Taunton. He did exactly as he was told and won convincingly for John and Jeanette Hobbs which apart from being great for them it wass a good confidence booster for the mare who had a horrible fall the last time that she ran at Hereford. It was also great that Neil's Dad Brian was over from Ireland to see her win as he bred her
30/01/2012 Well thats the way its going at the moment Devote Myself having her 1st run an a seller at Wolverhampton and she is beaten a neck into 2nd place and then to add insult to injury David Evens claims her!
Midnight Chase at Cheltenham
28/01/2012 A bit of catching up to do. Beneath showed much better form after his break on Friday night at Wolverhampton. He finished 3rd just beaten in a photo finish for 2nd. Much better. Then Saturday.WOW what a race Midnight Chase ran to win the Argento Chase at Cheltenham. Dougie got him going in a lovely rhythm, he made all the running, jumped really well coming up when ever Dougie asked him and clever when a long stride wasn't there, when he came to the hill he pricked his ears and really lengthened his stride. It was a picture of a horse really enjoying his racing. It was a great performance on the horses part but also Dougie's ride was a real class act. Chase will not run again before Cheltenham when he will run in the Gold Cup and although he is a 25/1 shot at the moment he has earned the right to have a run in it.
225/01/2012 Quite pleased with Midnight Opera's first venture on the flat at Kempton. He finished 4th. He went into the stalls very well, came out well aaaand made the running just to be out paced in the last 2 furlongs. Adam said that he was very genuine and should win a small maide so we will keep going down that route for the present
20/01/2012 Mad Max ran at Haydock and it was all positive. He finished 3rd, stayed well, the ground wasn't ideal and the main thing was that his wind was very good so now there is something to work on
19/01/2012 Ludlow and we ran Kilrush. He ran ok and finished 6th but I had hoped for a little better but he came back with a large heamatoma on his front shin which Dougie thinks he did when he hit the3rd hurdle also maybe 3 miles was a bit further than he ideally likes. Then off to Wolverhampton where Jimmy The lolipop did not stay 1.4 miles so back to 7furlongs to a mile
18/01/2012 Fran's Folly had her first run for the Racing Club at Southwell. She ran very well making most of the running and jumped very well, she finished a creditable 6th and will come on for the run

09/12/2011 Kilrush had his first run for us at Taunton and I could not have been more pleased with him, he disputed the lead untill he got tired turning for home and then Tom let him come home in his own time, there will be a lot of improvement in him
