Liz Harrington

Office and Racing

Liz takes care of the day to day office work for me and goes racing most days when I have a runner. She is a great help in the yard and she helps me feed every morning. Racing is what she lives for.




Mark Quinlan

Assistant Trainer

Mark was my conditional jockey for many years when I first started training and it was good to welcome him back as my assistant trainer in January 2017. He rode many winners for us as a jockey but has now taken on this new and challenging role and it's great to have someone like him by my side.


Georgina Murgatroyd

Head Girl

Georgie joined me in the summer of 2011. Georgie works to a very high standard which is fantastic for me knowing that the staff care. She has a lot of experience in the eventing and horse racing world. She is a great help to me and a hard working team player. She has horses of her own who she regularly competes. 


Maisie Bush

Head Stable Lass

Maisie joined in the spring of 2016. She enjoys hunting and team chasing with her own horse when she gets the chance and also has shown ROR horses. She has a wide range of experience and skills including breaking-in, pre training and comes from a point to point background. She enjoys going racing and is a great asset to our yard.


Shannon Scrivens

Head Stable Lass

Shannon joined me in July 2014 after spending three months at the British Racing School in Newmarket. She is a local girl who was brought up with ponies and is a keen and dedicated member of the team.



Sean Corby

Conditional Jockey

Sean joined the team from Ireland in May 2016. He has ridden 45 winners on the flat as an apprentice as well as many winners pony racing. After also spending time in America riding track work he has joined me to ride over jumps. His experience and skills both as a jockey and horseman will be a great asset to the team and we are looking forward to having him on board this season. 




Harry Reed

Conditional Jockey

Harry joined us in January 2017. He has had plenty of race-riding experience and has fit in well with the other lads. He has been around horses from a very young age and has done plenty of hunting and pony-racing. He is a good addition to the team and his 7lbs claim will be a great asset to us this season.



James King

Amateur Jockey

James is a successful amateur rider. He started off on a good note when his first ever ride was a winner. He has had many winners point to pointing and under rules since obtaining his licence at seventeen. Since then he has been champion hunter chase rider in 2016 and was also placed 2nd in the Aintree Foxhunters 2016. We are very happy to have him join the team this season. 

Amy Baker

Work Rider

Amy has worked in racing for many years. She rode 56 flat winners in her career as a jockey, for me and many other trainers. She no longer holds a licence but rides out for me every day.  She is a qualified human and equine massage therapist and laser technician. She is therefore available to treat the horses when necessary and is a valued member of the team. 


Emily Skuse

Stable Lass

Emily joined me in March 2015 after having previous experience in another racing yard. Emily is a local girl who has her own ex-racehorses and also has experience in the eventing world. She is a good member of the team and is making plans to travel the world one day too.



Joan Cousins

Part Time Stable Lass

Joan comes in to ride out three days a week. She has worked with horses for many years, she loves racing and has plenty of experience. Although she is part time she is a great help when it comes to all the clipping and enjoys going racing when she can.



Billy Page

Stable Lad/HGV Driver

Billy has ridden since a young age, moving into racing from a mainly hunting background and being involved with the pony club. He holds an HGV licence and drives our lorry to the races, Billy is a great asset to the yard and he always has a smile on his face. 



Dan Higginson

Stable Lad/Website

Dan started with me during July 2015. He has previous experience in the industry and his long term ambition is to be involved in the training or media aspect of racing. He is very keen and dedicated and channels his talents through social media as well as contributing towards maintaining our website.



 Liam Harrison

Part Time Work Rider

Liam is the baby of the gang, he rides out most Saturday mormings and school holidays. He has a competitive racing pony and is proving to be very successful. He is very talented and we are all hoping that he is going to be a top jockey one day.

Christie Revill

Stable Lass

Christie joined me from the Northern Racing College following the completion of her NVQ level 1 in race horse management. She is a hard worker and is currently progressing well in her NVQ level 2, she also aims to complete her level 3.

Dalpat Singh

Stable Lad/Yard Man

Dalpat has worked in racing since a young age. He has worked in several different countries, he loves to go racing and is a good member of the team.


Prem Singh

Stable Lad/Yard Man

Prem is a friend of Dalpats. He has also worked in racing many years. He does not go racing but rides out and works hard on the yard at home.




Andriy Severyn

Head Yard Man

Andriy has been with me since the first day I started training. He is a very experienced horseman and all of his experience has been on the yard. Andriy is a very conscientious worker and a very trustworthy man. Andriy will not leave a job until it is done properly.


Andzrej Zmunda

Yard and Gallops Man

Known as Andy, his most important job is to maintain the gallops so that they are freshly harrowed and rolled for the horses to safely exercise each morning. He helps keep the yard nice and tidy from washing the lorries to cutting the grass - a good man to have around the place.

Yuri Oberemok

Part Time Yard Man

Yuri helps muck out around the yard when needed and is very good with the handyman jobs. He is a great help and very useful to us all.

Alex John

Yard Man

Alex is a hard worker on the yard. He is very efficient when it comes to mucking out and is a great help taking horses off the walker to keep things flowing for the riders.

Anoup Pille

Yard Man

Anoup is another member of the yard team. He is helpful and hard working and keeps things running smoothly alongside the other lads. 



James Paget 

Stable Lad

James worked for me for several seasons before spending the summer of 2016 in Jersey where he had two rides on the flat. He recently returned to the yard and hopes to get more experience race-riding in the future.


 Sophie Norejko

Part Time Stable Lass

Sophie works part time joining us several days a week. She has lots of general riding experience and has two children with ponies, so enjoys spending time hunting and showing with them when time allows. 



Millie Wonnacott 

Stable Lass

Millie joined the yard in October and has fit in well. She has experience from showing and her pony racing background. She has two horses of her own to ride in point to points this season and aims to take out her amateur licence later on down the line. 




Chloe Conlon

Stable Lass

Chloe is new to racing but has had experience hunting and eventing as well as having grown up with her own horses at home. She recently completed an Equine Studies College Course before joining us in early January 2017 and is looking forward to what the racing industry can offer.



Anna Small

Stable Lass

Anna is the newest member of the team, joining us in late January 2017. She came to us after completing a three month course at the Northern Racing College as well as gaining her Level 3 Diploma in Equine Management. She has fit in really well and is a polite and hard working member of the team.

Narpat Singh 

Stable Lad/Yard Man

Narpat is from India and he has spent many years in the UK working for both flat and jumps trainers. He is pleasant, helpful and hard working.
